Moreover, Frankfurt School of Finance and Management’s International Advisory Service has provided technical assistance and training to banks and microfinance institutions world-wide for more than 15 years. Among our main clients are IFC, EBRD, KfW, GTZ, World Bank, and ADB as well as commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions.

For upcoming projects in a CIS country and in Asia (long-term position min. 12 months) we are looking for a (MFI) Transformation Manager with experience in the following areas:

Professional experience:

- Successful track record in guiding and implementing transformation processes in MFIs
- Strong experience in providing consultancy in product development (incl. deposit products), treasury and financial management, institutional development, internal audit and legal structure
- Knowledge of developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Strong background in financial planning, developing and implementing business plans and developing and implementing tools for continued business planning
- Experience in MIS and reporting for management and investors on head office and branch level
- Experience in training and coaching of senior staff

Personal profile:

- 3 to 5 years experience in a large and successfully regulated microfinance institution or commercial bank
- University degree in finance, banking or economics
- Fluency in English, knowledge of Russian/Chinese language or other regional languages is a strong asset
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Result oriented and good leadership skills
- Diplomatic and a good negotiator
- Flexibility with regards to other short-term assignments
