USO, a non-profit organization serving military members and their families, is actively recruiting for a dynamic, hands-on relationship builder to fill the position of Country Director, Korea. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of programs and services to active military and family members. This high-profile role will be based in Seoul, Korea.
Primary responsibilities include oversight of delivery of programs and services at all Country Centers and facilities; assessment of program and service expansion; financial management to include budget planning and monitoring; development activity to include fundraising and special events; relationship management with key military and USO Advisory Councils and management of USO staff in the Region.
This position requires a four-year degree with an emphasis on business/accounting; a minimum of five years of management and supervisory experience; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking skills; familiarity with the Korean language and culture a plus; previous experience with service oriented non-profits a plus. The availability for extensive travel within Korea and U.S. travel is essential.
